Hello, everyone! Long time no see.
While we still have no news about Minagoroshi, the team is still working really hard on upgrading the patch to better standards. Today's patch is being released across all chapters, with Meakashi and Tsumihoroboshi getting a few extras!
If you use our UI mod (I really think you should!), you will also need to grab the latest update here. Installation should be self-explanatory (just extract inside the game folder), but you can also check the tutorial just below the downloads if you need more help.

- Added option to disable PS3 opening to avoid spoilers.
- Recompiled UI for all chapters using the automated compiler.
- Improved texts on the config screen.
- Fixed some UI bugs such as red X instead of certain kanji characters.
- Added tips.json file to have a better control of the TIPS screen.
- Replaced chapter preview script.
- Added mod hotkeys screen to chapter preview.
- Fixed default LipSync configuration.
- Clean up layers and film effect when exiting to the menu.
- Fixed some resolution issues.

Hello, everyone! I'm back with the first set of fixes for all the reported bugs for Tsumi. This is quite a big list but I'll make it simple since it's boring. Thanks to @enumag for taking his time to fix everything reported so far. If you catch more, don't hesitate to report the bugs so we can fix them.

We're just a little over $80 to meet our goal for the year! Just a little more and we will be good until next year. If you can help, please donate and help us keep our server alive. The server was a massive change that completely eliminated all issues we have with Github dropping connections and breaking installations. If you installed the previous partial release, you need to reinstall the full patch using the installer or the manual installation.
This version is already available in our installer! There is a known bug in version 1.16 where the Tsumihoroboshi banner says
Partial release, but it is already the full version.

Hello, everyone! It has been almost two weeks since the partial patch, I hope you had a good time reading it.
I'm glad to be finally back with the full patch (that was finished about one week ago but please don't hit me). We had a few delays because we were working on the server migration, but that is finally finished and yes, you can already download the files using the installer or through the wiki directly from our new server. Please check the donations section below if you want to help us keep the server alive for the year!
Anyway, I would like to thank everyone on the team for putting a massive effort into releasing this as soon as possible. I think you guys are used to the names already, but this time I really have to praise Grelo for absolutely crushing through the second half of the game so fast. Amazing work as always!
This release unfortunately still doesn't have Steam/MangaGamer sprites, we're working on them and they will be available as soon as possible. Everything else, such as lipsync and the opening video, is there as you would expect.
I hope you enjoy Tsumihoroboshi as much as we enjoyed working on it!

Tsumihoroboshi Voice and Graphics Patch v0.5.1 (Partial Patch)
Hello, everyone. Glad to be back so soon with something really cool to release.
I have a few things to share with the community alongside this release, so please read everything!
Tsumihoroboshi Partial Patch
Starting with our star, we're pleased to say that we decided to release the first half of Tsumihoroboshi so everyone can enjoy it while we finish working on the second half.
Beware that this is a beta release (hence the pre-release tag), so a lot of broken stuff can happen. My recommendation is that everyone should wait for v1.0, but if you are willing to deal with the bugs and actually report them, we couldn't be happier to have you aboard. You can always report bugs right here in the repository (issues tab at the top) and also in our Discord server.
The partial release covers about half of the game (up to _tsumi_011), and it stops at a good place too. So don't be afraid of trying it if you really want to give your feedback about it. Let us know your thoughts about the partial patch, this is very important because it decides if we will release more partial patches in the future.
There is a table at the end of the post with all the downloads already available. Of course, this patch is also available directly through our installer.
Last but not least, there is a small list of features missing in this release:
- Steam sprites are not yet supported.
- Tips were not updated yet and won't work correctly.
Everything else should be available, including lipsync!
07th-Mod now accepts donations
Yes, we tried to stay as far away as we could from donations because we thought Github would be able to handle our patches, but recently this started getting harder and harder. We need donations to host our own server.
These are the immediate changes you should notice if we start hosting our own patches:
- Patches will take less time to build and update.
- No more dropped connections because you couldn't download the patch fast enough (a big deal for the installer!).
- Patch structure remake will make the installation take fewer steps if you are installing it manually.
- Umineko patches won't have to be split into 5 parts anymore (not related to Higurashi but also a big deal)
The sole purpose of hosting our own server is to make the installation process faster and more reliable. Our work will remain open-source and nothing should change in how we deliver the patches. Donators won't get any special treatment or advantages.
Our yearly goal is $200. That's all we need.

Of course, we will be setting up a page with all the details about why we want the server, how the money is going to be spent, and our plans for the future. In this group, our main objective is to always be transparent with our community, so we will be updating the balance monthly with all the spendings. Tsumihoroboshi Voice Patch v0.1.0
Aaaaaaand, surprise! I'm thrilled to release this, we should have done it for a while already, but we were waiting for a pretty major update to be released and it turned out to be worth the wait. Lots and lots of fixes by MangaGamer.
In fact, this patch was already finished four days after the Steam release. We really wanted to release it earlier, but this update was pretty major to be skipped. I will leave all the big thanks to the voices and graphics patch, that should be coming soon. I mean, really soon! We have a partial release in the oven, and the patch is slowly getting closer to completion. I swear we can never catch a break in this group.
Here are a few points I think you should be asking:
What's next?
- Installer support for all voices-only patches!
- Yes, this is a real thing. It's already done, including for Tsumi, but we need to finish some work in the actual installer to support it well (we even have backups now).
- Partial voices and graphics patch!
- I will have news about this very soon, so just let it float in the air for the time being.
Is this patch up to date with the current Steam release?
By the time I'm writing this, yes! We should keep supporting the voices-only patches until we get a stable release for the voices and graphics patch. This patch should come with all the fixes for BGM and sound effects loopings. Also a few translation fixes, MangaGamer really goofed twice this time.
Installer support
As I said before, we're working on it. Tsumi and all the previous chapters should be installable in its voices-only format as soon as possible using our installer. If you are in our Discord server, we will announce this as soon as it is released. For the time being, use the manual installation, it's easy.
