Recently a user had an issue on Linux Umineko (unmodded GOG version), where the sound didn't work at all (due to missing pulseaudio libraries?).

Tellow suggested using the ponscripter-fork nodep executable here: https://github.com/07th-mod/ponscripter-fork/releases/download/v3.0.0/umineko-linux-nodep-question.zip which solved their problem.

You can also try the nodep version from https://github.com/07th-mod/ponscripter-fork/releases/tag/v3.0.0
Its goal is to have all dependencies bundled so hopefully it doesn't run into issues

It would be nice to add this info to the wiki, as well as some basic info the experimental exes.

  • The installer could also add the nodep executable (currently it just has the plain executable I think? not sure...)
