User Accessibility Feature:

To prevent unwarranted access, Users should be able to select what they want to make visible

This should either allow the user to add to a public inventory or allow the user to make their inventory visible or private. Users should have the ability to decide if they want their information viewable by others, this can be done by the simple click of a button (make private)
