I thought I could just symlink my "manim" package dir in my virtual env to my forked local manim repo. That worked for a while, but it broke eventually. I can give more detail but the error was:
...which goes away and all works as normal if I replace my manim package dir with the actual dir that pip wrote (i.e. when I undo my symlink hack) I can just edit my virtualenv directly ....it's already under git control due similar past problems. But is there hope to do the old fashioned "What do y'all do?" is another way of asking. |
