Import CSV contacts

is there any function to import a CSV file (or similar) which generates contacts?

There is an LDAP import function: https://github.com/4teamwork/ftw.contacts/tree/master/ftw/contacts/sync

Our usual setup has a cronjob which calls the sync command every night. You need a LDAP connection and then map the LDAP attributes to the contacts (default in mapper.py).
