What are the things we want to teach STEM students? Perhaps this is a primer for the key ideas, perhaps it's a list of techniques we expect final year students to know, or first year students. There's a bit of linear algebra, calculus, probability theory, statistical analysis, etc. and none of it is really escapable.
I'd like to get together and write a short text book, perhaps as a living document, with some theory and examples. Either in bookdown or using LaTeX.
