A few minor issues, but otherwise good:

  • SPW 33 was not imaged due to size mitigation.
  • Continuum & SPW 31 could be cleaned deeper.
  • Slope in spectrum for SPW 29 again due to lack of continuum channels. General solution for this still TBD.

Looks like the cube re-imaging for this failed with the usual Error in running Major Cycle : One or more of the cube section failed in de/gridding error for all SPWs except for 31. I just checked the directories on Globus and can confirm this -- there are tclean output files for all other SPWs, but no final restored images.

@keflavich I recall you saying that you were going to have to re-run these cases without MPI(?). Not sure if you're already aware of this one, tagging you just in case.

This wasn't running because of the j_updated name. I've modified the scripts (PR forthcoming) such that they will run now.

SPW 33 has now been cleaned by the imaging re-run and it looks good! Marking this as done.

I can't get spw29 to finish cleaning to save my life. Even after a complete fresh rerun, with no MPI, it still fails with:

2022-11-10 16:39:16     SEVERE  tclean::::casa  Exception Reported: Error in tclean: Error in running Major Cycle : One or more  of the cube section failed in de/gridding. Return values for the sections: [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0]

Discussion on today's pipeline: there are duplicate images (see #363) for s12 and s38. The s12 image looks better (@bazarsen). We should update the clean parameters and re-run imaging.

Also, there is a weird feature: in the tclean parameter table, I don't see spw33:

which... should imply that no spw33 cube exists? I'm confused about this.

spw33 used default parameters, of which the relevant ones are threshold='0.01Jy', cyclefactor=2.5,. That might just be OK?

Looks good. Maybe slight contamination in low frequencies, but nothing major.
