I like both of these sfx, but prefer the clean default "tick" when scrolling through the hotbar. Instead the pick/place sound plays, if there is one. If I disable Item Pick/Place Sounds, I get just the desired ticks when scrolling, but ofc lose the manual pick/place sfx. Could we have an option to flip this override? Using v1.12.2-1.4.1.
Another part to consider, if Minecraft/Forge even distinguishes between the two, is whether the hotbar slot was scrolled to or hotkeyed. I feel like hotkeying is similar to a manual pick/place, warranting the current override. If there's no way to tell the events apart, then current behavior is probably the lesser evil.
