Anvil & Enchantment Table Improvements

Anvil:
Anvils are generally used to repair items but with how they're implemented, it becomes quite a grind. Though there were improvements throughout versions, Mojang's solution for the most part was to introduce the infamous mending enchant into the game and the general complaint that I've noticed is that anvils are too punishing on their repair mechanic compared to what mending does.

• Repairing/renaming should no longer damage the anvil (or even cost anything). I think tying that to a purely RNG mechanic is not a good idea, it makes repairing annoying, and I don't like to feel punished for wanting to repair only 25% of my item's durability (there was one time I remember where I only repaired my tool twice and the anvil I had got damaged twice due to my bad luck).
• Instead of increasing the level to the point where you're barred from using the anvil, it should just be capped instead to a certain level. Only problem I see with this is that adding enchants would become extremely powerful unless there was a limit to how many enchants you could add to an item.
• An additional way to remove all enchants from an item. Modern versions have the grindstone, maybe adding a similar mechanic for the anvil could work and you could get experience back in the process.

Enchanting Table:
Without a way to reroll the enchants you get, it makes the anvil better in almost every way for enchanting.

• Rerolling enchantments shown on the interface. I think for this, an item can be used on the slot where you normally use lapis lazuli like books or paper.
• Rerolling enchantments on an item. For this one, simply allowing the ability to do that would be great and it makes the system not as punishing when you get an enchant you don't want.
