AdGuard VPN quit unexpectedly OSX Catalina #367

Environment

- OS: Catalina 10.15.7
- Other network-level software:

Which DNS server do you use?

Default

Custom DNS

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. It just crashes when trying to open the app.

Expected Behavior

that the App would open

Actual Behavior

The app wont open I just get the error "adguard vpn quit unexpectedly"

@stickboywood Hello! Please accept our apologies for the delayed response.

Judging by the crash report you have provided, the issue might be related to your system configuration. Could you please run the following command ioreg -a -n IOEthernetInterface > output.xml in Terminal and provide us with the output file.

@stickboywood It is ok if the command does not produce any output in the terminal window, as it is supposed to produce the output.xml file in the currently opened directory. To find out what directory is open in the terminal, you can run the pwd command.

To easily locate the file, we recommend opening the terminal and running the cd Downloads command, then running the ioreg -a -n IOEthernetInterface > output.xml command. In this case the output.xml file will be created in the Downloads folder.
