Issue Details

Issue Description:

I am experiencing an issue on my Windows 11 system where AdGuard’s filtering functionality is active at startup, but the main application does not automatically start.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Uninstall AdGuard using the advanced removal utility with the extended type option.
  2. Reinstall AdGuard.
  3. During installation, ensure that both the following options are checked:
  • Enable filtering at system start-up
  • Launch AdGuard at system start-up
  1. Restart the computer.

Expected Behavior

Both the filtering functionality and the main application should launch automatically when system starts.

Actual Behavior

After restarting:

  • The filtering is active (i.e., ads and trackers are blocked).
  • However, the AdGuard application does not start automatically.

Additional Information

  • I have checked the registry at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and found no AdGuard entry, which might be related to the application not launching.

  • I have followed the troubleshooting suggestions provided by AdGuard Support, but the issue persists.

The problem still persisted. Ultimately, I had to manually add the registry entry to resolve the issue.
