Now DataField42 can also download mods and servers can host their own versions of files.
You can join servers from the DataField42 desktop app which has a server lobby.

DataField42 version 1.0.0

This is the very first version of DataField42.

Currently DataField42 can do only one thing: once you join a server but you don't have the map DataField42 will pop-up and try to download it from the central database (bf1942.eu). It will automatically place the map into the correct folder and rejoin the server for you.
