Has anyone had their app rejected by app store? Today had this as a reason for rejection:

We noticed that the user is taken to Safari to sign in or register for an account, which provides a poor user experience. Specifically, your app has the user sign up in the app but requires user to pay fee in Safari/ website.

Unless the tester is confused (we definitely dont go to safari) - is PayPal.Forms doing something they no longer like or accept?

Cheers

Nick

A bit more info on this - this is only when signing up to a new paypal account from the link on the login view. They don't seem to be budging on this and have rejected again.

They state

To resolve this issue, please revise your app to enable users to sign in or register for an account in the app.

We recommend implementing the Safari View Controller API to display web content within your app.

The Safari View Controller allows the display of a URL and inspection of the certificate from an embedded browser in an app so that customers can verify the webpage URL and SSL certificate to confirm they are entering their sign in credentials into a legitimate page.
