WiFi Tethering doesn't work

WiFi tethering turns on successfully and everything, and shows as a WiFi hot spot. But, when I try to connect to it, it never finishes connecting. It sits there idle trying to connect.

Tested on beta 5 bunny stew and koolaid with my Chromebook (samsung).

same with usb tethering

usb tethering works with Hellscore kernel.
Wifi tethering also work but you need to start it, and turn it off, and start again for tethering to work.
Whenever the phone lost signal, you have to repeat the above procedure to regain tethering.
