When I assembled my first Ultra 2 I realized how much digital dexterity was required and that there was a possibility of overheating connections in the Ultra 2 assembly video as it is now presented. My suggestion is that the population of the Ultra 2 and (in my case) pi zero was to put all of the male and female headers together and then put them between the boards and use the standoffs to connect the boards together. This then makes the pins aligned board to board and the soldering much easier.
