Since proxymusic is published to Maven Central, you should be able to import it in your build.gradle (see this thread).
Can you explain what you tried and what didn't work or how you resolved it?

I had also trouble importing proxymusic to an Android Studio project. It seems that the newest version of proxymusic requires Java 17 which isn't supported in Android Studio yet. Using proxymusic version 3.0.1 fixed the build errors for me

I just ran into the same issue. My software needs to be backward compatible to Java 8 (1.8.0.172 to be very specific). It would be great if you could provide compatible release assets for the current version and future updates.
