Overview
Jetpack Start v8 has a number of major changes designed to maximise user engagement and extensibility. It combines new user-facing changes based on data gathered in previous revisions with cutting-edge browser technologies such as ReactJS and Flux.

- Updated, friendly & simple user interface
- Responsive design scales from phones to desktops
- Functionality consolidated into single Wizard view on the WordPress Dashboard
- Wizard saves state as the user progresses, reloading the page returns to the same state as they left
- Steps can be completed in any order by clicking the menu
- Progress bar keeps user motivated to complete all the steps
- Jetpack Start module activation consolidated into a single informative step
- Re-uses familiar styles and design cues from WP-Admin 4.2

- Component-based technology (ReactJS) keeps wizard components simple and isolated, allows easy extension, and provides same technical underpinning as WordPress.com
- Background saving ensures a smooth user experience with no blocking operations
- Dynamically detects available Jetpack Start add-ons and status
