Shift the camera, according to FOV #1

Hi, I really need help, it's been two days I struggle to understand mathematics behind photography, field of view, angle of view, radian, tan etc... I can't understand how to shift the camera like in blender (based on camera fov) with precise value.

There is checkbox "Compensate FOV" that makes it relative to the camera FOV. So "shift 1" will move "one screen right"
