For what it's worth, you can just add your map to a git repository and do the versioning yourself using commits, releases, etc. I have done that in my Azgaar's map files use a mixture of Windows and Unix line endings, so you should tell git not to change the line endings in the file. Did you think about somehow integrate github version control in your map editor? It would help me a lot creating my map because it takes more than one day and I am afraid of doing something wrong since I am not a fluent user yet, thank you!
