Did you think about somehow integrate github version control in your map editor? It would help me a lot creating my map because it takes more than one day and I am afraid of doing something wrong since I am not a fluent user yet, thank you!

You can download your map as a .map file and put it in a git repository.

I think he wants to do like a git commit, so if he makes a mistake, he has a backup to revert his changes.

For what it's worth, you can just add your map to a git repository and do the versioning yourself using commits, releases, etc. I have done that in my banaanvraag-map repository.

Azgaar's map files use a mixture of Windows and Unix line endings, so you should tell git not to change the line endings in the file. You can do so by creating a file named .gitattributes in your repository with contents

*.map binary diff

The binary tells git that line endings should be left alone, and the diff tells git that it can still display the changes in a commit like you're used to. For example, this commit changes the name of the map (and the time at which it was saved).
