Unable to delete Population

Hello.
I have created a map with a large area meant to be just grassland, without population. I tried deleting Burgs and Provinces, but the map still shows a HIGH number of little dots representing population, not just around rivers/states, but all over regardless of the biome.
Any idea how I can delete these dots, either in bulk or (hopefully not) one by one?

population looks reasonable for me

You have set some styles that makes it hard to see. But if toggled off, it looks as expected.

Hm, i see. The idea was for the light gray areas to have no population, and very minimal population in other areas. Is there a way I can accomplish that?

Yes, just change the habitability of the biome. If it's not a biome, you can use zone and change its population directly.
