Shortcuts

There are shortcuts available for most of the actions in this application. Since most of the actions are available from the context menu, you can see the related shortcuts next to the action name. Some OS might choose to hide the shortcuts from the menu, in this case, here is a list of shortcuts that can be used in this application.

Note

New in versions >= 0.9.0:

you can add/edit shortcuts for all known actions in the "Settings" dialog.

List of shortcuts:

• Open/load image: Ctrl + O
• Copy pixmap: Ctrl + C
• Paste from clipboard: Ctrl + V
• Pan image when zoomed-in: Shift + Arrow-keys / Mouse drag
• Previous image: Arrow ← / PageUp / Mouse Back
• Next image: Arrow → / PageDown / Mouse Forward
• Open/load image: Ctrl + O
• Horizontal flip: Ctrl + R
• Image metadata/properties: Ctrl + I
• Zoom-in / Zoom-out: Mouse wheel (can be tweaked from the setting dialog)
• Close application: Spacebar / Mouse Double-click (when protect mode is not enabled, can be tweaked from the setting dialog)

Please notice there are also some OS-specific shortcuts not listed here.

We also plan to introduce support to custom shortcuts in future updates, and for any suggestions about shortcuts, please consider letting me know by creating a new issue or discussion thread on GitHub.
