It may be useful to add in some configuration options:

Wait delay before executing scripts
Alternate directories for Start/Stop scripts
Potentially expand runnable extensions to allow for .bat files

Is this not possible to do in the scripts themselves?
Can you give me a user story for this?
There are loose plans for this whenever I work on the project again.
