AAIdrive disconnect after a while

Hi,
Sometimes the app just disconnects itself without any error and then after few seconds riconnects as if nothing happened.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Moreover, Spotify sometimes plays as usual but searching display "empty" on iDrive.
Hope someone have a fix or at least a workaround

I'm experiencing the same thing. Weird thing is it doesn't always happen.
Sometimes I have several days without this issue and the next the suddenly it happens the same way you described. When it happens for me it's always after 20-30 minutes

I'm not sure why this would be, I'd suspect the MyBMW app tunnel is closing for some reason. It may last longer after a reboot, which should reduce memory pressure and thus Android won't kill it as eagerly.

Yeah I'm also thinking how to pinpoint the root cause. Not sure if there is a possibility to collect logs which can provide information why the connection stopped and restarted again?
I already put the MyBMW app as unrestricted in the battery Settings, but could still be the bottleneck. I'm also experiencing different behavior regarding notifications compared to my previous phone. But i think you prefer that I open a new issue for it, to prevent highjacking this issue?

The logs I've looked at previously just seem to indicate that MyBMW cleanly shuts down the connection for no discernible reason. I don't expect BMW to prioritize fixing this, because they only use the connection temporarily to update the in-app car details for older cars that don't have the cloud connectivity functionality.

Same issue at my car. After about 30 minutes disconnected, then reconnected. ( This happened 2 times during a longer drive last weekend.

Check the battery permissions for the MyBMW and AAI app. set them to 'unrestricted'. I was facing the similar issue.
