Explain your idea

In Create 6.0.0 patch, the mod has added a recipe to turn Zinc into chains. Plus, the original chain recipe which uses iron remains intact in the game. Essentially, there are two ways of making chains in the Create mod.

The problem is that Immersive Engineering Arc Furnace turns these chains into Zinc ONLY, not iron. Zinc has been designed to be a non-renewable source since the beginning of the Create mod. However, the Arc Furnace currently makes Zinc a renewable source (which I believe is unintended) as iron is a renewable resource (infinite iron-> infinite chains->infinite Zinc). I am aware that I can change the recipe in the datapack/config, but changing the recipe infringes the integrity of the gameplay (if every recipe can be changed, then what is the point of the game?).

I would like to kindly request Immersive Engineering Arc Furnace to convert chains into IRON not ZINC to fix this unintended balance issue.

Our recycling system is automatic. It just fetches whatever recipe it finds.

Create not wanting Zinc to be renewable is fine, in that case people who make a modpack including IE and Create can just make chains unable to be recycled...
