The building blocks of Immersive Engineering are amazing. While it's great that elements like catwalk railings and fluid pipes can be dyed, adding the ability to dye even more blocks would make them even better.
If it’s not too much trouble, please consider allowing the following blocks to be dyed:
Steel or Aluminum Blocks (Scaffolding, Catwalk (Stairs), Wallmount, Post, Ladder, Sign, etc.)
I know that catwalk railings can be dyed, but it would be great if the platforms could also be dyed.
Lights (Cage Lamp, Floodlight, Electric Lantern)
IE includes many fantastic lighting options. If the color of the light blocks could be changed, it would allow for the creation of multicolored warning lights, making things even more dynamic.
Warning Signs
Currently, they are only available in yellow, but it would be useful to have different colors to indicate different levels of danger: green or blue for less dangerous areas, yellow as the default, and red for high-risk zones.
Requests for Warning Signs:
The exclamation mark on the General Warning Sign appears too thick in the middle, making it look less like an exclamation mark. Sharpening its shape would make it feel more like a proper warning sign.
The Shock Hazard Sign is quite small, making it hard to recognize as a shock hazard. Improving its visibility would be helpful.
Please consider adding the following new signs:
Prohibition Sign (circle with diagonal slash)
Do Not Enter Sign (circle with horizontal line)
Stop Sign (hand symbol)
Fall Hazard Sign
Radiation Hazard Sign
Railway Sign
Biological Hazard Sign
Chemical Hazard Sign (flask)
Skeleton Hazard Sign
Explosive Hazard Sign
High Temperature Sign
Animal Warning Sign (wolf, camel, or horse?)
Please allow these signs to be dyed as well.
Additional Block Suggestions for IE Factories:
While building factories in IE, I have thought that a few additional blocks would fit in very well. Here are my suggestions:
Hazard Blocks
Typically, these consist of yellow and black diagonal stripes, but it would be great if the yellow part could be dyed with different colors.
Since these lamps are made using wires, it would make sense if they could be crafted using different types of wires.
Steel and aluminum versions should have the option to change the cage and lamp color as well!
These are just my personal thoughts, and I am not claiming that my ideas are absolutely correct. Please review my suggestions, and if you find them reasonable, I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider implementing them. Thank you!
