After using Brisqi almost every day for the last few weeks on the mac, today I decided it's worth trying out the subscription and gave Brisqi for iOS a test.

First impression on iOS: Wonderful. Minimalistic and user-friendly like the desktop version. After playing around a bit, two first thoughts, maybe feature requests right away:

  • preserve the last list view of a board: I noticed that when you call up a board, it always jumps to the first list. I don't think this is very user friendly, especially if you have many lists on a board - the last used list should be preserved. Often it is the one you work with.
  • Notifications: on the phone, notifications would be incredibly helpful. I know it's not designed for Kanban. Nevertheless being reminded of tasks by the phone (at least at a defined time) is an essential feature of any task management app.

Hopefully 0.5.0 for macOS is on a good way.

Thanks and best regards
Otto

PS: By the way – what does the term "Bresqi" mean? I am just curios.

Hi Otto,

Thank you for the feedback and giving the subscription a try, I really appreciate it. I'm glad you're liking the iOS app so far :)

Both of your requests are valid. I just pushed out an update with the first feature, the app will now preserve last viewed list.

The second request (reminders) is in my backlog already. This feature requires some planning as I have to integrate it with desktop app as well, so this feature will get there eventually with time after I've completed some high priority items for both desktop and mobile app.

Yes, I'm working hard on v0.5.0, it will be out soon :)

Brisqi word came from Brisk (quick or fast), since Brisqi app lets you "quickly" view your tasks at a glance, hence the name Brisqi.

Thank you again,
Ash
