As per #363 no one is wanting to take this project on. I've locked edits down to contributors, and opend up issues so feel free to submit anything that needs fixing there.

OR is there anyone who has permissions to push releases?

@derek-adair I do not have control of uploading to the Python Package Index or distributing.
