How to Fix Roop Unleashed Installation Issues - Conda not installed on Windows 11 (NVIDIA GTX 1080)

If you're facing installation errors with Roop Unleashed, follow these steps to set up the application from scratch.

My System Specifications:

• Operating System: Windows 11
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1080
  -Error during installation: Conda not installed

Try this fix

1. Prepare a Fresh Roop Unleashed Folder

1. Download the Repository:

   • Go to the [Roop Unleashed GitHub repository](https://github.com/C0untFloyd/roop-unleashed).
   • Click Code and select Download ZIP.
   • Avoid using the installer ZIP file unless preferred.

2. Extract the ZIP File:

   • Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a new folder in your preferred location.
   • Important: Do not overwrite any existing Roop Unleashed folder.

2. Clean Up Old Files

1. Check for previous installations of the following:

   • Roop Unleashed
   • Python
   • Anaconda/Miniconda
   • Git
   • Visual C++ Libraries

2. Use BCUninstaller (Portable Version Recommended):

   • Download from BCUninstaller.
   • Uninstall all instances of the above programs, focusing on uncertified versions of Visual C++ Libraries.

3. Delete Leftover Files:

   • Use BCUninstaller to clean up residual files after uninstallation.
   • Completely remove older Roop Unleashed folders and other leftovers.

4. Do Not Modify System Paths:

   • Avoid manually deleting paths in Advanced System Settings.

3. Reboot the System

• Restart your computer to ensure all changes take effect.
• This step is mandatory before proceeding further.

4. Run Roop Unleashed Installer

1. Navigate to the extracted Roop Unleashed folder.
2. Run the windows_run.bat file as an Administrator. See, Steps to Run windows_run.bat.
3. The script will reinstall Roop Unleashed and execute all necessary commands.

Steps to Run windows_run.bat

Administrator Mode (Recommended):

1. Right-click the windows_run.bat file.
2. Select Run as Administrator.

Normal Mode:

1. Double-click the file to execute it in regular user mode.
2. This is an alternative method and may succeed depending on your system permissions.
