WOMA Meeting set for Oct. 20th

October 13th, 2003

by: Paul Walenciak

The Western Oklahoma Manufacturers' Association (WOMA) October meeting will
be at WestOak Industries on October 20 in Erick. We will start at 7:00
P.M. with a short meeting at the Rafter T restaurant and then a tour of
WestOak's facilities. Everyone is invited to arrive early at the Rafter T
(~6:00) to eat and network. The Rafter T is on the Northeast corner of
Exit 7 and I-40 in Erick.

WestOak Industries designs and manufacturers electronic and
electromechanical equipment. They employee about 30 and have sophisticated
assembly machines for manufacturing large volume production runs as well as
a highly trained production staff for assembling small volume prototypes.

I have asked them to provide us with an overview of the tools and
techniques they use for continued growth including employee training,
production automation, marketing, etc. Please join us to learn more about
how a growing, locally owned Western Oklahoma manufacture has achieved
success in a very competitive market area.

I look forward to seeing you at the meeting. If you have any questions or
need further information please contact Paul Walenciak at 580 774-7071.
