CI services, such as http://travis.org and http://coveralls.io provide nice status images to be included a project pages like this:

Build Status Coverage Status

It would be nice to

  1. include these images at metapan (if one somehow refers to them in a distribution)
  2. provide similar status images for metacpan likes, CPANT, CPANTS, cpanratings etc.

This is only useful if authors reference the actual release and not just the master branch which is in flux and doesn't reflect the released version.

Ok, status images from CI services fed by the code repository are more useful to judge the master branch which likely reflects a developer release. I filed requests for CPANTS and for CPANT. How about a button image with number of likes at metacpan or a static metacpan logo icon to link from the project page of a module to its page at metacpan?

Sure, some kind of widget would be nice to have.
