I have found this script has 2 limitations.

  1. Google scripts sets a max run limit of 6 minutes.
  2. It can only tag 100 email of a given type at a time.

If you have a lot of mail and or a lot of labels, you can easily breach the 6 min run limit. I found for the initial set up, that I needed to add some of my labels with a lot of mail under them to the "Offsprint Skip List"(sic). I would then run the script manually until all the non-skipped labels were applied. I then removed the next label from the skip list and ran again repeating the process until all mail was appropriately labeled.

It may help to add something like this to the readme.
