Hello.
I have modified your code to get it run with kafka 0.10.2.1 and scala 2.12.2. Now kafka yaml points to my dockerhub (dawidch/kubernetes-kafka:0.10.2.1) because I had to use different basic image wurstmeister/kafka:0.10.2.1. If you want to use your own dockerhub image you have to build the image first and modify the file:
https://github.com/DawidCh/kubernetes-kafka/blob/master/kafka-rc.yaml to point it to your docker image. But you probably already know all of this;)
