A huge part of my preparation for starting the club at Butternut Box was setting up an environment that would suit everyone who attended.
With everyone working from home a lot of people don't have access to a printer so I tried to find a good digital tool that would fit the format. Luckily our company uses Macs so we could all use the built in Preview app and its mark up tools, which turned out to be very good for the code annotation exercise.
(In the process of figuring this out I tried to set up a Figma doc, which would have been pretty awkward)
Ideally this would be a guide for each recommended tool (printer + markers, Preview on a Mac, Preview on an iPad, Miro, etc.) for organisers and attendees (they would probably involve separate concerns: prep for organisers, usage for attendees), but even a short paragraph about what a setup should allow would be a big help.
