random but I decided to check the logs during this
I trace square when the function runs and I found that it is, in fact, making the square
it seems that the issue is it not appearing visually
any ideas? let me know

I'm guessing it might just be the random values pushing away the square. I'm not exactly sure, the code looks like it's doing what it's supposed to.

bro.............. the problem was that I was using add() instead of FlxG.state.add()............ 🤦🏻‍♂️ whatever it works now
