@jonmagic I was thinking that a Spark core ($40) could be a sweet alternative to the Yun. I'll build my model up this way and we can compare. Also, the kids can flash the chip via Wifi and/or write the app in a web browser. Moreover, perhaps the Spark guys would be up for sponsoring the event. (spark.io) |

@jonmagic FYI, DigiKey has the MPU-6050 on reels at around $6.31 each, so i guess if you have a good supplier connection you can get the part pretty cheap to print on a breakout board. |
