Screen still flickering on dual graphics Mid 2015 MBP Retina running Monterey

Pretty much the title. gfx Cardstatus used to work for me, but now doesn't for some reason, and neither does gSwitch. I have constant screen flickering, which gfx used to fix if I forced integrated.
Tried resetting SMC and NVRAM. Tried erasing laptop and installing everything from scratch. Still flickering.
In gSwitch, the tick indicates "integrated only" and stays there. The flickering seems to die down after 5 seconds when I stop my mouse or there is nothing moving on the screen.
In gfx, the tick doesn't even stay on "integrated only" once I choose it.

Also, how do the "unsafe" options work in gSwitch? What makes them unsafe?
