[Feature Request]: Desktop notifications / toasts for frontend events

Prerequisites

• I have searched the existing issues and checked the recent builds/commits
• I have read the documentation and this feature is not already available
• This is a single feature request (not multiple features combined)

Problem Statement

Notifications and toasts with timeouts may be missed when not actively watching the app.

Proposed Solution

Offer an option to also show native OS notifications / toasts when the app is hidden.

Potential workflow

1. Go to settings
2. Press toggle option to enable desktop notifications
3. Desktop notifications are displayed when modal dialogs are shown, or in-app toasts occur

Impact Level

Low (Minor enhancement)
