From a rescued exception in Rails, cd-cause into gem code?

Error: No previous exception to cd-cause into when trying to back into code from a gem where the exception originated.

Is this possible without including pry-rescue into the gem source?

This is using the Pry.rescue block method.

What do you mean by this? If the exception was triggered by the gem's source code and you want ti c-cause into it? Or you don't want to cd-cause into it?
