Please note, for this release, it's probably a good idea to switch the ad block mode to 'element' in content block settings (switching currently requires 2 app restarts)

The three modes are listed in descending strength. The hybrid mode currently has some severe bugs though. Hybrid is the element adblocker and hosts adblocker used together and overall works similarly to uBlock Origin on desktop - blocks ads from loading and then removes their containers from the page. The element mode does block some ads from loading, but not as strongly as the hosts mode. It instead focuses on removing all the ads from the page when it loads. The hosts mode simply blocks ads from loading.

Hybrid mode > element mode > hosts mode

Hosts mode is known to be unstable, but if you run into issues with either of the other 2 modes, please open an issue.

Whitelisting sites currently only works for the hosts adblocker.
