I had the same problem on 1.19.4, so I recompiled the mod for that version, maybe you can implement same fix for 1.20

Manually installing stacc-api seems to make it work

How does one do that? I added it to my mod folder but it still didn't work.
I hope someone can implement this for 1.20.1, that server still seems to crash.

To fix this, install a newer version of Stacc. I used Stacc 1.7.0 in Fabric Loader 0.16.7 for Minecraft 1.20.1 and it worked for me. https://modrinth.com/mod/stacc-api
