Request to Add ssh or ftp Capability to the CryoCloud Hub #54
Comments
2i2c-org/features#20 would enable that! |
Awesome! Thanks @yuvipanda! |
Great, thanks @yuvipanda! From what I'm reading, I'm guessing it will be best for us to wait for 2i2c to resolve this issue then? |
@tsnow03 that's the only way! If you can put a specific use case this would enable in 2i2c-org/features#20 that would help with prioritization! |
If you just want to transfer data you can alternatively use the S3 Scratch Bucket. It's a bit cumbersome, but doable currently (see https://book.cryointhecloud.com/how_tos/data_access/CryoCloudScratchBucket.html#advanced-access-scratch-bucket-outside-of-jupyterhub) |
Hi CryoCloud folks!
We had a great time using the CryoCloud hub at the ML in Glaciology workshop this past month. Thank you so much for getting that set up for us!
Would it be possible to add ssh or ftp capability to the terminal command line within CryoCloud to enable users to upload their own data remotely?
Thanks!
