Why: Why you want the feature

Currently the app is only available through Github.com. This is not administrator friendly and is not the expectation of Splunk administrators. Because Splunk has his own app store: splunkbase.
Updates work currently only on manual work and no information is send to people which have installed the app.

What: What you want to happen

Publish and update the app via splunkbase.

How: How it is implemented

  • Modify the app to be compatible to splunkbase manual
  • Package and publish the app in splunkbase
