handling more fd's (sockets)

What is the definition of this task?
1. prepare sockperf to handle more fd's (sockets) then 1024.
2. modify sockperf so it reads the number of open files and knows to handle 
more inputs from the feedfile.

What is the expected output?
sockperf can handle large number of fd's: 1400, 2000, 5000, 10K..
