@jmacias552 try the ideal solution property package |

Hello fellow engineers,
I'm currently working with DWSIM 8.6.5 using the Peng-Robinson (PR) thermodynamic package. I'm encountering difficulties in accurately calculating the density of an aqueous solution containing salt, sodium hydroxide (soda), and hypochlorite in water. I suspect this issue may be due to using an inappropriate thermodynamic model for this system.
Are there any thermodynamic packages available in DWSIM that are better suited for modeling electrolyte solutions, particularly for a system containing these components?
Any guidance on selecting the most appropriate thermodynamic model for this aqueous electrolyte system would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your expertise!
