Thin Mesh Retopo Issue

Great addon, but I found that when you try to retopo thin meshes like a cape for example, it can be difficult as the points will snap to the faces in the back from time to time, which makes it so you cannot select them with the pen, which heavily disrupt the retopology process. If there was a mode that allows the pen to select faces without considering the reference mesh this would be cool. Just a suggestion.
