JSON-LD metadata can be embedded in web pages:

https://developers.google.com/schemas/formats/json-ld

E.g. to describe datasets for indexing by Google:

https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/datasets

Or scientific datasets more generally:

http://dx.doi.org/10.1101/097196

Would be useful if data kitten looked for embedded json-ld script tags and tried to use that if available
