Adding support for using AES encryption when storing files using InfiniDrive would be useful. How to best approach adding this is unclear for now. The obvious answer is to encrypt the data in chunks as it is being processed for uploading, but perhaps pre-processing would be better.

Related idea: Should InfiniDrive support retroactively encrypting files that were uploaded in an unencrypted form?

Due to upcoming changes to Google Drive's storage quota rules resulting in the end of InfiniDrive development, this issue has been closed without completion.
