Feature type

Changing existing functionality

Improvement Description

Hi,

Would it be possible to add the settings given for the thickness of the different soil layers in the .toml file (thicknesslayers = [100, 300, 800]) to the log.txt of a wflow model run?

Implementation Description

No response

Additional Context

I'm using a model someone else made, but I'm not completely sure what settings were used for this specific parameter. Therefore, I think it would be nice to add it to the log.txt, so that you can read which setting was used in a specific model run. Most other model specific settings, like 'kw_river_tstep' and 'kw_land_tstep' are already logged.

Thanks for this feature request. Yes, good point, it makes sense to add this info to logging.
