On opening the app, DevToys opens two windows, one is a completely blank window with a Mica effect, and the other is the actual DevToys window (see the image in the Screenshots section). This is incredibly inconvenient as the window is rather large and does not move. It stays on top of every other window, so the only way to escape it is using PowerToys' AlwaysOnTop feature.
How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)
Open the app
Windows duplicate; one empty, one the original DevToys window
Expected behavior
I should think this part is rather obvious: DevToys should not open a random window that stays on top of other windows.
Screenshots
Workaround
There is no workaround apart from closing the app, which makes the window disappear, or using PowerToys AlwaysOnTop feature to circumnavigate it. Obviously, neither are practical.
Affected platforms
Windows, Linux
Affected DevToys kind
DevToys (app with GUI)
DevToys Version
2.0-preview.5, x6410.0.22631.4391
Relevant Assets/Logs
I learnt while attempting to open the log location, this bug also breaks Explorer somehow by applying a similar broken effect to the window that is opened by the Settings -> About pane (however this may be coincidental).
%localappdata%\DevToys\Logs is unavailable.
