I'm often frustrated when I miss new job postings that match my skills or location preferences. Regularly checking the portal for new listings can be time-consuming, and there’s a risk of missing relevant opportunities if I forget to check frequently.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to receive notifications whenever a new job posting matches my predefined preferences (e.g., job type, location, skills). This alert system would send notifications via email or SMS, so I stay informed about relevant job postings without needing to monitor the site constantly.

Changes I am thinking of doing

• while signing up users ask for their city where they are currently located, phone number(for SMS purposes) and job type they would prefer.
• Changes in backend where jobs are being stored to send mail/SMS to interested job seekers when new job is created

Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative solution could be an in-app notification system, where alerts are displayed in the user dashboard instead of being sent externally. However, this may still require users to log in regularly to check for new jobs, potentially defeating the purpose of timely alerts.

Additional context
Adding this feature could improve user engagement by providing a seamless experience, ensuring that users don’t miss out on new opportunities that align with their preferences. The feature could be further enhanced with options to manage and customize job alert preferences from the user profile settings.
